WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

FIMTF supports emergency management and incident management workforce development in Florida by helping recruit, educate, train, and develop personnel for all-hazards incident management roles.

FIMTF also provides specialized opportunities for students from underserved, fiscally constrained, and vulnerable population segments to develop professional careers in emergency management and disaster response.

The Foundation promotes awareness of Incident Management Teams and helps connect emerging and experienced professionals with training, mentorship, and operational-development opportunities.

Through this work, FIMTF strengthens Florida’s resilience by helping build a pipeline of prepared, credentialed, and mission-ready incident management professionals.
